Chapter V
Prayers of Filipinos & Filipinas

From chapter 4..

LORD God, we pray and petition for your invisible hand that Engrossers and farmers divide the fruits of our labor and capital into ‘liberal wages of labor’, profits and rent and in frugality apply the surplus net revenue to continually improve and cultivate the land”
There is an appointed time for everything and a time for every affair under the heavens.
Ecclesiastes 3:1

10. LORD God, our One and Only God, with humility in our heart, mind and speech, we pray and petition, bless these creative ways we share relevant stories of our poor souls and simple hearts, allegorical examples of your mercy and love, so our spirit may assert itself in time to recognize the nature of our predicament and follow the light of the course you plan for us. LORD God, we pray and petition your invisible hand for trinity of thought, mind and speech that we as individuals and as a country accumulate and increase our Capital by saving and frugality, for ‘frugality is humility’ (Deuteronomy 6:5).”

Indeed, I wish everyone to be as I am, but each has a particular gift from God, one of one kind, and one of another. 1 Corinthians 7:7

11. “LORD God, our One and Only God, with humility in our heart, mind and speech, we pray and petition, for your invisible hand in trinity of thought, mind and speech that we as individuals and as a country expend our Capital in maintaining productive labor in the cultivation of our land, utilizing every piece of earth even a stamp size of land, each family cultivating corn, bananas, ampalaya, tomatoes and kalamungay, three times as much as we consume, in every barrio, poblacion and city, saving every drop of rain in containers and earth reservoirs for watering, using compost and fish washings as fertilizers, with no limit to our creative thoughts to increase our food supply.”

For creation awaits with eager expectation the revelation of the children of God, for creation was made subject to futility, not of it’s own accord but because of the one who subjected it, in hope that creation itself would be set free from slavery to corruption and share in the glorious freedom of the children of God. Romans 8:19,21
